Towards Fair and Accessible Pricing

As I've been working internationally for many years now, I've been contemplating this theme for a long time, and navigating it organically until now.

As our global lives become more and more expensive, and inflation goes up, as a business, I have from time to time to adjust my prices according to the market I work in, and my positioning in it.

But I also know from very personal experience how finances can be a barrier at times.

And there are widely different local economies around the world, places where people might earn $10/day in one place and $1,000/day in another place for the same effort.

I also know that anyone can fall on hard financial times, no matter where they are, what their profession is, or what their level of excellence.

And the thought that some people will not be able, or feel wrong to reach out for support, is personally really hard for me.

I've seen this module recently in one of my teachers, and it resonated and touched me.

Here are some of the strategies I implement to make access as fair and accessible as possible:

  1. Pricing Tiers, depending on which country you live in.

  2. Even in the wealthiest countries, you can get support if you need.

  3. You can reduce prices even further by applying to the 12-session program. The more regular-ongoing sessions you do, the price for each decreases.

  4. Payments plan are available to any of my sessions programs.

Words from Kim Barthel team, the teacher that her offerings and words deeply touched me,

"We deeply know the world can be desperately unfair and divided. We can’t control much of what’s causing this pain on a global scale, but pricing of these courses is one small way to make things a little easier for people who are already doing everything they can to help others. Our courses are designed to help people be their best selves as well as their best professional selves. Because our courses are made up of information that we wish everyone would know, info that we wish we’d known when we started our careers, we want to share it. When people legitimately can pay the standard rates, we’re grateful. When they truly can’t, but still see value in taking them to be able to offer greater services to the people they support, we’re also truly grateful for what can be paid at the discounted prices. It gives us dopamine and oxytocin to see and hear that the products of our energies and experiences can be of service in different cultures and widely different contexts."

We live in what feels like a troubled world, at times.
But I deeply believe in our own individual power and intentional actions.

Even tiny ones.
That can hugely impact the life of another.
