Why emotions?
Our relationship with our emotions sits at the centre of so much of human experience.
How we make decisions.
How we relate.
How we love.
How we parent.
How we handle conflict.
How we respond to stress.
How we experience our bodies.
How we move through change.
Sometimes emotional difficulty appears as overwhelm.
Sometimes as numbness.
Sometimes as intensity.
Sometimes as the inability to feel much at all.
Sometimes as anxiety.
Sometimes as chronic tension or pain.
Sometimes as patterns that keep repeating in our relationships.
Different expressions.
A similar challenge.
The challenge is rarely the emotion itself.
More often, it is the relationship we learned—or never learned—to have with it.
Many of us never truly learned how to be in relationship with our emotional life.
Because emotional learning happens in relationship.
It depends on being met, mirrored, supported, and guided by people who themselves had emotional capacity.
And many of us grew up in environments where that learning could only happen partially.

Our relationship with our emotions is often the missing link.
This programme was created as an invitation into that missing learning.
Not simply to understand emotions.
But to experience them.
To become familiar with them.
To discover that emotions are not problems to eliminate, but capacities that deepen our relationship with ourselves, with others, and with life.
For over fifteen years, people have come to me with anxiety, chronic pain, burnout, relationship difficulties, parenting challenges, physical symptoms, and a deep sense of feeling disconnected from themselves.
Rarely did someone come because of emotions.
And yet, again and again, emotional capacity became one of the most important factors shaping healing, relationships, resilience, and lasting change.
This journey grows directly out of that experience.
Who is it for
Over the years, I've witnessed this learning transform people's relationship with themselves, with others, and with life.
Part of me wants to say:
This journey is for everyone.
Because every human being has an emotional life.
But more specifically, this journey may be for you if...
-
your emotions often feel overwhelming.
-
you rarely feel your emotions at all.
-
you understand yourself intellectually, yet still find yourself returning to familiar patterns.
-
you long for deeper connection—with yourself, with others, or with life.
-
you're navigating relationships, parenting, healing, burnout, chronic symptoms, or a significant life transition.
-
you sense there is something your body is trying to communicate that words alone have not yet reached.
In a world where we often ask,
"How do I regulate?"
I'd like to offer a different perspective.
Emotions are not the opposite of regulation. They are part of our regulatory system.
When we lose relationship with our emotional life, regulation itself becomes more difficult.
This programme is not about controlling emotions.
It is about restoring relationship with them.
For practitioners and caregivers
Whether you accompany children, clients, students, patients, or loved ones, your own emotional capacity becomes part of the relationship.
Developing that capacity doesn't only change your relationship with yourself. It changes the conditions you create for others to learn, grow, and feel met.
The goal is not to become someone who has no difficult emotions.
It is to become someone who knows how to remain in relationship with them.
What we'll explore
Together, we'll explore emotions not as problems to manage, but as living capacities that shape the way we relate to ourselves, to others, and to life.
Throughout the programme, we'll inquire into questions such as:
-
What are emotions, and why do they matter?
-
How does emotional learning develop?
-
How do experiences become organised in the body?
-
Why do some emotions become overwhelming while others become inaccessible?
-
How do emotions shape relationships, boundaries, and decision-making?
-
What changes when we develop a different relationship with our emotional life?
Each session combines teaching with embodied practice, reflection, and shared inquiry.
This is not simply a programme to understand emotions.
It is an opportunity to experience them differently.

Somatic psychotherapist, educator, supervisor, and Fascial manual therapist.
My practice draws on Somatic Developmental Psychology, Bodynamic Analysis, nervous system science, fascia manual therapy, and transpersonal approaches to the body.
I've spent over fifteen years working with chronic pain and early trauma — not as an outside observer, but as someone who lived with chronic pain myself for years before finding a different way through it.
That shift is what this course is built on. I'm not teaching you something abstract — I'm handing you what actually changed things, both for me and for the clients I've guided through it since.
